Eddy was shown as part of Emergence, a 2021 exhibition curated by Richard Speer in partnership with PNW Sculptors, Portland (OR), and Major Tom at H Gallery, Ventura (CA) in 2021 - 22.
Eddy is one of the I’MPERFECT series of sculptures. I’MPERFECT continues the conceptual story arc established in uckiood’s previous Odd Jelly Out sculpture series. OJO has now found his/her tribe of individuals, misfits and eccentrics. The imperfect have become perfect by virtue of their uniqueness and peculiarities - now is the time to take joyous ownership of one’s outsider status. Together the sculptures form a proud and distinctive group of characters that, through their tantalizing textures, shimmering light play and captivating palette, invite personal/emotional connection and physical/sensory experience.
