Nugget was shown as part of the Seattle Deconstructed Art Fair at Ryan James Fine Arts, Kirkland (WA) in 2021, and Major Tom at H Gallery, Ventura (CA) in 2021 - 22.
Nugget is from the Warriors series of sculptures. The Warriors continue those ideas explored in Kim and Missy’s I’MPERFECT collection of work and, as is customary in with their studio practice, find inspiration in the toys, emotions and stories of childhood. The concept of battling to be seen/heard and punching forward is embodied in these small dynamic forms which are full of light, color and character.
